SPOTIO announced general availability of DASH on April 1, 2026: an AI co-pilot built into its mobile app for outside sales reps. The scope is deliberately narrow. DASH helps a rep prepare for a visit, log what happened by voice, and draft the follow-up, between stops, one-handed, often on a weak signal, without leaving the app.
DASH launches with four parts. DASH IQ answers product and company questions from the organization's own knowledge base, summarizes recent account activity and gives in-app guidance, so a rep walks in with context. DASH Actions turns a spoken or typed account of a visit into completed work: it creates records, schedules follow-ups, converts a photo of a business card into structured data, and drafts personalized emails and texts. DASH Go is the voice layer for the drive between appointments: account summaries, visit notes and prep for the next stop, confirmed with a tap when it is safe. DASH Connect links DASH to the large language model a team already uses, such as Claude or ChatGPT, and to existing tools including CRMs through SPOTIO's integration layer.
The design decision that matters most: every DASH action needs the rep's approval before it writes anything to SPOTIO. Each action is shown as a preview for review before a record is saved or a message is sent. SPOTIO frames this as keeping reps in control and keeping leaders' data trustworthy. For a field CRM that is the right trade-off. A co-pilot that silently rewrote activity logs would be worse than none.
What it means for field sales teams. The time DASH targets is the dead time most field teams already know about: notes typed at the end of the day, follow-ups that never get sent, visits walked into cold. If reps actually use voice and photo input between stops, the logging burden drops and the data leaders see gets fresher. SPOTIO's own 2026 State of Field Sales report, cited in the announcement, says one in three field sales teams has not adopted a single AI tool.
One honest caveat. Because every action is confirmed by a human, DASH is an assistant, not an autopilot: the savings depend on reps changing a habit, and a team that already under-logs will not be fixed by a better input method alone. Two things to check before switching it on: how DASH Connect handles your data when it hands prompts to a third-party model, and how DASH is packaged for your team. SPOTIO does not list prices on its site (quotes are custom), and its plans page shows DASH AI both in the B2B and B2C plan feature lists and among its optional add-ons, so ask whether it is included in your plan or sold separately, and at what cost. We have not tested DASH hands-on yet; our SPOTIO review will be refreshed when we have.
