What we collect
We collect the email address you enter in our email-updates form, and the name, business email, company, website and description you enter in our tool-submission form. This is stored in our database (hosted by Supabase) and, for tool submissions, emailed to our team via Resend; it is used only to send those update emails or process your listing and is never sold. If you use the on-site AI assistant, your messages and its replies are stored so we can improve recommendations — please do not enter personal data there. We also log clicks on outbound vendor links — the source page, the vendor, a random referral id, your country, and a one-way hash of your browser's user-agent string. We never store your IP address or the full user-agent. We also use Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs Web Analytics and Vercel Analytics for aggregate usage data.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies for two things. Analytics: Google Analytics 4 sets cookies prefixed _ga on this domain; advertising storage and ad personalization are disabled via Google Consent Mode, and Ahrefs Web Analytics and Vercel Analytics are cookieless. Referral attribution: when you click a "Visit" or "Book a demo" link we set a cookie named fst_ref containing a random 10-character id, which lasts 60 days. The same id is passed to the vendor in the link so that, if you book a demo or buy, the vendor can credit the referral to us. That id is not tied to your name, email or IP address, and none of these cookies track you across other websites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Some links on this site are referral links. If you click through and book a demo or buy, we may earn a fee at no extra cost to you. Some vendors also pay for a clearly labeled Featured Partner placement. Neither changes a rating, a written verdict, or a position in a ranked list — paid placement affects only where a vendor appears in labeled featured slots.
