Overview

SPOTIO and SalesRabbit are two of the longest-established D2D platforms. Both serve the same core use case — territory assignment, door-to-door lead tracking, rep performance monitoring — but they've carved out meaningfully different positions over time.

SPOTIO is the territory analytics powerhouse. In our assessment its mapping is the strongest data visualization in the category, and its native integrations cover Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Pipedrive on the CRM side, with Oracle NetSuite and SAP on the ERP side and thousands more apps via Zapier (spotio.com/integrations, read September 2026). In 2026 SPOTIO shipped the DASH AI co-pilot (April) and Next Best Action (July). The catch: it is designed for teams of five or more on quote-based contracts, so SPOTIO is a considered purchase, not an impulse one.

SalesRabbit's strength is ease of use. Its free Lite app lets a solo rep try lead management and appointment setting at no cost, though SalesRabbit says Lite may not include team management or advanced features (salesrabbit.com/lite, read September 2026). Per SalesRabbit's 6 January 2026 announcement it acquired Roofle, adding e-commerce pricing and digital proposals to build one of the more complete roofing tech stacks we have seen. If you're in roofing, this acquisition alone is a compelling reason to choose SalesRabbit.

SalesRabbit reports 85,000+ active users; SPOTIO does not disclose its user base. Both hold strong user ratings (SPOTIO 4.5/5 from 400 G2 reviews and 4.3/5 from 78 on Capterra; SalesRabbit 4.5/5 from 433 on G2 and 4.2/5 from 191 on Capterra, all read September 2026). The real decision comes down to your team's priorities: analytics depth vs. ease of use, roofing-vertical depth vs. broader CRM integration, or quote-based team contracts vs. flexible billing.

Verdict: SalesRabbit Wins

For most D2D teams, SalesRabbit is the easier, more flexible choice — especially if you're in roofing or solar. SPOTIO earns its place for teams of five or more that need serious territory analytics and are comfortable with quote-based pricing.

SalesRabbit edges it for most teams: published entry pricing, a free Lite app for a solo rep, flexible billing, and the Roofle acquisition adding e-commerce pricing and digital proposals for roofing. SPOTIO is the better pick for teams that need enterprise-grade territory analytics above all else.
